As Mayor, Robert L. Butler has been committed to the revitalization of downtown Marion. He also has made transparency in government a high priority. Under the Mayor’s direction, the city website has and will continue to offer a live camera feed of city council meetings on the Internet and on the city’s new website, new city ordinances will be posted online as well as the approved minutes of each city council meeting.

If re-elected, Mayor Butler will:

• Provide the leadership needed to develop the Star Bonds district
• Push for a new recreation center in Marion
• Work with Williamson County officials to bring new businesses to Marion
• Continue efforts to improve the city’s roads and water and sewer lines
• Support local law enforcement initiatives to keep Marion residents safe

On April 7, vote to re-elect Mayor Robert L. Butler.
